POSITION TITLE: Senior Business Development Representative

LOCATION: Fremont, CA (Must be in-market)

COMPENSATION: $70,000 - $90,000 + Uncapped Commissions

 

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Business Development Representative is responsible for new business development in their designated market. Through research and prospecting, the Senior Business Development Representative will gain an understanding of the customers’ business to deliver a sales solution to meet their staffing needs.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:

  • Prospecting, lead generation, and securing new business through cold calling, drop in visits, sales appointments, relationship building and networking either in person, via telephone or virtual.
  • Assess and evaluate prospects in the designated market to identify sales targets and specific action plans
  • Deliver a customized sales approach to each customer and create  customized solutions to meet customer needs e.g. solutions selling
  • Identify top drivers through each stage of the customer journey: Need, Learn, Evaluate, Select and Advocate.
  • Determine Customer Need through solutions selling e.g. quality of talent, quality of service, pricing, not finding qualified candidates, need recruiting support in a specialized area and quantity of candidates. 
  • Learn how the customer buys e.g referrals and recommendations from colleagues in their network, worked with firm(s) in the past, and referrals and recommendations from industry associations. 
  • How will the customer Evaluate a staffing partner? Through quality of candidates, partnership-based service, speed, value, and having a single point of contact.  
  • How will your customer Select a staffing partner? Through a request for referrals and recommendations from colleagues in their network and/or industry. 
  • How will your customer be your Advocate?  Through quality of talent and high service, responsiveness and communication.
  • Present pricing/proposals/contracts to prospects
  • Create relationships with prospects and customers through networking,  public relations activities and industry associations
  • Conduct quality control checks in partnership with branch team and/or account managers to  ensure appropriate matching and complete client satisfaction
  • Bring innovative ideas to meet customers staffing needs.  Encourage customers to consider new approaches to meet their staffing needs through cross selling Eastridge’s suite of staffing products and services
  • Partnering with sales professionals and business partners outside of designated market or division to uncover potential business opportunities. 
  • Utilize company CRM system to document prospecting and sales development efforts

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Must be physically located in the designated market for in person sales meeting and prospecting.
  • Have a hunter mentality and a desire to close new business
  • Love interacting with clients especially traveling to their offices for on-site meetings
