POSITION TITLE: Administrative Assistant 
LOCATION: Mission Valley, CA (Onsite)
COMPENSATION: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour 
*Compensation within this range will be determined based on experience, skills, geographical location, and internal equity considerations.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part-Time (10-20 hours per week) *This part-time role is not benefit-eligible.

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
SCHEDULE: Monday and Wednesday (Flexible Part-time hours)

 

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: The Administrative Assistant will support all Corporate Services departments with daily tasks including but not limited sorting and distributing mail. Scanning documents for the different departments, unemployment claims, verification of employments, payroll adjustment forms, reporting, garnishments, benefit audits, and internal and external client and employee inquiries. 

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS: 
  • Responsible for supporting Corporate Services Departments primarily Paybill and Accounting
  • Assist with mail duties for the suite
  • Review, respond, and process all W2 and W2C requests
  • Research returned checks
  • Respond to and manage all Verifications of Employment
  • Respond to and manage all Unemployment Claims
  • Processing all garnishments and being the point of contact for garnishment questions
  • Assist in pulling all the proper payroll records for litigation request
  • Field calls from the payroll hotline
  • Light auditing with use of Excel and GoogleSheets
  • Uploading of Temp Payroll New Hire reporting to EDD
  • Certified Payroll data entry
  • Benefits medical support orders
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • 1+ years’ of experience in an administrative-based role
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills
  • Able to maintain and protect private and/or confidential information
  • Adaptability: Comfort working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment; flexible in response to changing employee needs; maintain professionalism and composure
  • Organizational Skills: Extremely organized; ability to prioritize tasks
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Google Suite

  • There is no travel expected for this position.
